Quick Answer
The Assignments page has two tabs: Currently Assigned, which lists assignments with a status of Not Started, In Progress, or Past Due; and Enrollment History, which lists assignments with a status of Completed, Dropped, or Expired.
What This Article Helps With
This article is for users who want to know why an assignment appears on one tab of the Assignments page and not the other, or what each assignment status means.
The Assignments Page Has Two Tabs
-
Currently Assigned - assignments with a status of Not Started, In Progress, or Past Due.
-
Enrollment History - assignments with a status of Completed, Dropped, or Expired.
An assignment moves from Currently Assigned to Enrollment History once it reaches one of the Enrollment History statuses.
Why Past Due and Expired Appear on Different Tabs
Expired is a status that applies only to Assessment assignments, while Past Due applies to Course and Learning Path assignments. This means an overdue Course or Learning Path assignment shows a status of Past Due and stays on the Currently Assigned tab, while an overdue Assessment assignment shows a status of Expired and moves to the Enrollment History tab.
