Common Causes/Issues:
You would like to understand the options available for viewing and sorting KnowledgeSmart Skills assessment results data.
Solution Overview:
There are a variety of different places in the KnowledgeSmart platform where Skills assessment results can be viewed and sorted.
Let's review the options.
Results > Data page
You can view your KnowledgeSmart Skills assessment results in the Results > Data area of your dashboard. Use the Results per page dropdown to change the number of results displayed on screen. Use the dropdown menu to view results data (if you have two or more linked accounts).
Click on the score link to view a detailed summary of each Skills assessment report. The report opens in a new window.
Filter your results by searching on a variety of fields, including, username, email, score range, time range, date range, test name/ID, module name/ID, question name/ID, user status, team name/ID, job title, manager status, training keywords and the information captured in your 5 user datafields.
Create groups or dynamic groups to save your search activity.
Groups
Step 1
Select the 'Show search' link in the orange bar, at the top of the page. You will see the five user datafields on the right-hand side of the search box.
Step 2
Enter the information in the relevant search field and hit 'Search' to filter your results data. Use the check boxes to select your results records for the new group.
Step 3
Click the 'Show groups' link. Enter a group name in the 'Create New Group' field and click 'Create'.
Step 4
Select your new group in the dropdown and your subset of results will display on screen.
Use the 'Add to Group' and 'Remove from Group' tools to edit your static group content.
Dynamic groups
Step 1
Select the 'Show dynamic groups' link in the orange bar.
Step 2
Use the 'New Group' tool to create a new dynamic grouping of your results. Enter the group name in the field provided.
Step 3
Use the 5 datafield dropdowns to create the rules you require, for adding existing and future results to your group. Save your new dynamic group, by selecting 'Save Group'.
For example, a results group has been created based on datafield 1, City: London. The next time a new result is added to the database and the associated user record includes datafield 1, City: London, then the results record will automatically be added to the existing group.
Step 4
Use the 'View Dynamic group' dropdown menu to navigate between different results dynamic groups.

The Query Builder function provides a comprehensive tool for analyzing the data within your account, organizing it with the structure you want. There are several default queries and you have the option to create your own.
In the above screenshot the active query is shown in the box at top left. The columns and rows in the main window are responsive and change with the query selection.
Use the dropdown to show the list of available queries. Queries are ordered alphabetically.
The first icon on the left creates a new query. The pencil icon allows editing of the active query. The third icon along is for copying the active query. The last icon downloads the query data to a .csv or MS Excel file.
Select which account the query applies to (if you have more than one). The default value is to include all accounts.
When creating a new query, you have the choice of all the data fields shown below.
Filters can be applied to the raw data to extract precise values and create sub-groups of your data.
When starting to use the Query Builder we recommend copying and editing some of the default queries. This will give you a good insight in how to construct a valid query.
