Quick Answer
In the Pinnacle Series Admin Portal, Custom Themes are theme configurations an administrator creates and can edit or delete, while Standard Themes, such as Autumn Bliss, are pre-built theme options provided by Eagle Point Software that can be selected and applied but not edited or deleted.
What This Article Helps With
This article explains the difference between Custom Themes and Standard Themes in the Pinnacle Series Admin Portal's Theme Customization area, so you can decide whether to build a new theme or select a provided one.
Custom Themes
A Custom Theme is a theme configuration you create yourself, setting a Theme Name and Navigation, Primary, and Secondary colors. Each Custom Theme you create has its own Edit and Delete options, so you can update its colors or remove it later.
Create a Custom Theme when you want colors that match a specific brand or preference not covered by one of the provided Standard Themes.
Standard Themes
A Standard Theme is a pre-built theme option provided by Eagle Point Software - for example, Autumn Bliss. Standard Themes are listed alongside Custom Themes in the Available Themes list and can be selected and applied the same way, but they cannot be edited or deleted.
Select a Standard Theme when you want a ready-made color scheme without configuring colors yourself.
