Language Preference
Choose from over 130 languages, enabling automatic translation of asset titles, descriptions and transcripts, from your profile settings.
Profile Picture
Upload a photo by selecting the pencil icon on your profile image, so colleagues can recognize you on the platform.
Download Add-ons
A section in User Profile Settings where you can download the MSI file for installing Pinnacle Series User Tools.
Activate on This Device
Found under Account Info in User Profile Settings after installing Pinnacle Series User Tools. Close any open Autodesk applications before selecting it, to activate the tools on your current device.
De-Activate the Plug-in
Deactivate the plug-in in User Profile Settings to stop related learning topics appearing within Autodesk products - you can reactivate it later if needed.
Send Notifications via Email
Toggle this off if you don't want to receive system notifications by email. Your admin team can also toggle this off as a general setting.
Search & Filtering Tools

Description
Main Search Bar
A universal search bar at the top right of the platform, searching all content you can access. Add + to include important terms or − to exclude topics you don't need - for example, "+Autodesk +Inventor +change +appearance −simulation −animation".
Library Search Bar
A search bar specific to the current library, at the top left of the library page. You'll only see libraries your content administrator has shared with you.
Filter Panel
A panel on the left side of your search results, letting you filter by Publisher, Topic, Sub-topic, Content, Duration or Difficulty.
Learning Path Results
Search results showing learning paths, including difficulty level and your enrollment status. Check the difficulty rating to confirm a path is right for you.
Kebab Icon
The three-dot menu icon on a learning path card, letting you enroll in the full path or a specific course within it.
AI Chat
Pinnacle AI Chat is a context-aware chat feature that uses natural language processing to answer questions and guide you to relevant resources. Being specific - including terms like "video," "guide" or "tutorial," and Boolean operators like AND, OR and NOT - gets better results.
Assignments & Enrollments

Description
Currently Assigned
A dedicated space showing your current learning and assessment assignments, with progress and due dates. Sort by Due Date, and use the Kebab icon for quick actions.
Enrollment History
An overview of all your learning activity - completed, in-progress and dropped - with status and dates. Sort by any column header, and use the Kebab icon for detailed enrollment information.
Re-Enroll
Register again for content you've previously completed or dropped, to retake updated content or access refreshed certifications.
View Certificate
Access completion certificates for finished courses or learning paths. If one isn't available, check for unmet requirements.
Finish Course
Marks a course as completed once all required items are finished. Confirm every required section is complete before selecting this, to receive your certificate.
Video Features & Accessibility

Video Properties
Information about a video - duration, last modified date, publisher, and associated topics or subtopics - so you can check it meets your needs before starting it.
Video Transcripts
A text version of a video's spoken content, letting you follow along or search for specific terms. Transcripts are automatically translated based on your language preference.
Caption Settings
Toggle video captions on or off from the bottom right of the video player.
Video Chapters
Jump directly to a specific section of a longer video, rather than watching from the start.
Enter Full Screen
View a video in full-screen mode. Player controls - playback speed, captions, volume and more - remain available in full screen.
Learning Features & Personalization

Pause Learning
Stop progress on a course temporarily, and resume later from where you left off.
Mapped Training
Personalized learning content based on assessment results, aligned to skill gaps or learning objectives. KnowledgeSmart assessment training tags link directly to Pinnacle Series courses to create this.
Training Thresholds
Criteria for assigning training based on assessment results - for example, users scoring below 30% receive a full learning path, while those scoring above 80% skip training entirely.
External Learning Tracking
Tracks training completed outside the platform, for official recognition within Pinnacle Series - submit proof of an external certification to have it added to your learning history.
Learning Path Comments
A section for leaving and viewing comments on a learning path, to see feedback from other learners or share your own.

Applied to content to align it with specific skills or assessments, ensuring targeted learning for users identified through KnowledgeSmart assessments.
Keywords
Searchable terms that help you locate relevant content - use + to include key terms or − to exclude unwanted ones.
Libraries
Collections of related content for structured browsing.
Topics & Subtopics
Broader categories (such as workflows or industries) and more specific subjects (such as products or versions) used to classify content.
Feedback & Collaboration Features

Send comments or suggestions directly to content creators - for example, to recommend improvements to a course.
Add to Bookmarks
Save content to your personal bookmarks for quick access later.
Share
Share content with peers using a formatted or plain hyperlink.
Like
Express approval of content, which also informs future recommendations shown to you.

What's the difference between Learning Path Comments and Send Feedback?
Learning Path Comments are visible to other learners on that path. Send Feedback goes directly and privately to the content's creators.
