Quick Answer
Threshold settings for Personalized Learning assignments are set per assignment and determine how much training a user receives based on their assessment score; there is currently no bulk-edit option for assignments already sent, so incorrect thresholds must be corrected by editing enrollments individually or by bulk deleting and resending the assessment invitations.
What This Article Helps With
This article is for Pinnacle Series Administrators who want to understand how threshold settings work for Personalized Learning assignments, and how to correct threshold settings on assignments that have already been sent.
How Threshold Settings Work
Threshold settings for Personalized Learning assignments are managed on a per-assignment basis within the assignment management area. The thresholds determine how much training a user receives based on their assessment score:
- Above the Higher Threshold: The user is not assigned any training.
- Below the Lower Threshold: The user is assigned all available learning.
- Between the Threshold Values: The user's learning is personalized based on their specific results.
Correcting Threshold Settings on Existing Assignments
There is currently no feature to bulk-edit threshold settings for assessment invitations that have already been sent. If invitations were sent with incorrect or missing thresholds, use one of the following options to correct them:
- Edit individually: Manually modify the threshold settings for each enrollment one by one within the assignment management area.
- Bulk delete and resend: Bulk delete the existing assignments and resend the assessment invitations with the correct thresholds applied. Assignments can only be bulk deleted if they are for the same Assessment.
We recommend bulk deleting and resending invitations when correcting thresholds for multiple users, since editing enrollments individually is better suited to a small number of affected users.
Reporting on Threshold Settings
A report can be generated showing which users have threshold settings applied to their Personalized Learning assignments and which do not. Use this report to review active threshold settings and decide whether any assignments need to be edited individually or bulk removed.
