You want to self-enroll in a Pinnacle Series course, learning path or skills assessment.
Solution Overview:
In Pinnacle Series you'll find an extensive library of learning assets that will allow you to enhance or refine your skills. At Eagle Point Software, we understand that every learner's journey is unique. That's why we've created the Pinnacle Series self-enrollment experience that not only empowers users, but also delivers measurable success for organizations. There are two ways of self-enrolling in a personalized learning path.
Navigate to the learning path that you wish to personalize. Select the "Enroll in All" button found at the top menu.
You can either enroll in all courses as shown here, but in this example we are going to personalize our learning. First, you can select the assessment that you would like to take to personalize your learning. Here you have a list of assessments that have been mapped to this learning path.
Next, you can assign an expiration date for the assessment. You will receive this confirmation pop-up and once you select continue, you'll be taken straight into the assessment journey. If you want to complete your assessment later on, you can access your assessment assignment via the "Assignments" area, or you can look out for the e-mail notification and initiate your test via the link found at the bottom of the notification. And of course, the platform notification area will also keep you on track with your assignments.
Go ahead and follow the on screen prompts and take your assessment.
Once you've completed your assessment, a report summary will be available either at the high level or at the maximum level by selecting "Show All Detail". At the bottom of the assessment report, there will be a consolidated view of your skill gaps as well as any training requests that you made during the assessment.
Once you've completed your assessment, your assignment will move into the "Enrollment History" area. Access the ellipsis icon found at the right of your screen and select "View Enrollment Details".
Here you can then see your score and you can also click "View Results" for a detailed report. Within the personalized learning section, you can assign a due date for completion. And once you select "Enroll in Learning", your learning assignment will be created based on the skill gaps of your assessment.
Within the learning path view, you will only see the course items that have been assigned based on your unique skill gaps. If you would like to see the full learning path, you can toggle on the option - "Show all content". For streamlined focus, you can toggle that off and focus on closing your skill gaps, based on your assessment result.
It is also possible to enroll in a personalized learning path for assessments previously taken, and once again this can be done from within the enrollment history area. Navigate to the ellipses icon and select "Enroll in Personalized Learning". Here you can add a due date, and once you click "Enroll in Learning", that personalized learning path will also be initiated for you.
From within your home screen, you can easily track your personalized learning assignments indicated by the trophy icon.
In closing, it's important to note that your organization needs an active KnowledgeSmart Integration with self-enrollment toggled on, in order for this functionality to be available. Mapped assessments ensure that training tags from assessment questions align seamlessly with Pinnacle Series learning content.
