How to Create a Library in Pinnacle Series

To create a Library in Pinnacle Series, open Libraries in the Admin Portal, select Create Library, and choose either New Library to build one from scratch or Create From Existing to start from an existing Library.

Create a New Library

  1. Open Libraries.
  2. Select Create Library.

  3. Select New Library.

  4. Enter a Library Name. This field is required.
  5. Enter a Description, if needed.
  6. Select Add Library Image to upload a thumbnail image for the Library. See "Library Image Requirements" below for the recommended dimensions.
  7. Turn on Mark as Featured if you want this Library to appear under Featured Libraries on the Libraries page.
  8. Turn on Content added to Library under Notification Settings if you want to be notified when content is added to this Library.
  9. Select Create Library.

Confirm the new Library appears on the Libraries page, under Featured Libraries if you marked it as featured.

Create a Library From an Existing Library

  1. Open Libraries.
  2. Select Create Library.
  3. Select Create From Existing.
  4. In the Create From Existing Library window, select the Subscription Libraries or Custom Libraries tab, depending on which type of Library you want to start from.
  5. Use the search field or the Topics filter to locate the Library, if needed.
  6. Select the Library you want to use as a starting point.

  7. Select Continue.

Available documentation does not confirm what happens immediately after selecting Continue - for example, whether you are then prompted to name and configure the new Library, or whether it is created automatically using the source Library's name and content. Confirm the result by checking the Libraries page for the new Library once you complete this flow.

Library Image Requirements

The New Library Details window recommends a Library image sized 282 x 180px. A maximum file size of 150KB has also been confirmed for this upload.

  • A new Library with no content yet can still be created - content can be added afterwards.
