Quick Answer
To add content to a Library, open the Library, select Add Content, use filtering or folder navigation to find the content you want, select the items, and confirm your selection to add them to the Library. You will only be able to add content from other libraries if that library has been shared with 'all users' or groups that you are a member of.

How to Add Content to a Library
- Open the Library you want to add content to.
- Select Add Content.
- In the Add Content to Library window, use the down arrow next to Filtering in the top left to choose between filtering and folder navigation to isolate the content you're looking for.
- If using filtering, type a term into the search field, or select Recent Content to view content you've recently published.
- Select Apply Search & Filter to run your search.
- Apply additional filters as needed, such as Publisher, Library, Topic or Sub-Topic, product and version tags, Content Type, Duration, Difficulty, or Keyword, then select Apply Search & Filter again to view the matching results.
- Select the content items you want to add to the Library.

Helpful Tips
- You can switch between tile and list view when browsing content in the Add Content to Library window, using the view option to the right of the Filtering control.
- Each piece of content carries metadata such as difficulty level, keyword, duration, and topic. Taking a few extra minutes to tag content effectively improves discoverability and creates a more user-friendly experience for anyone browsing or filtering the Library later.
- Before adding content, you can review and edit the Library banner: select the camera icon to change the banner background, or the pencil icon to update the Library name, description, or thumbnail. The banner also shows whether the Library is currently visible to specific Groups or to all users.
Common Questions
Can I browse for content by folder instead of searching?
Yes. Use the down arrow next to Filtering in the Add Content to Library window to switch to folder navigation instead of search and filters.
How do I find content I recently published?
Select Recent Content within the filtering option to view content you've recently published, without needing to run a search.
How can I tell which content was added most recently?

Can I remove content from a Library or share it with another Library?
Yes. Select the content within the Library, and you'll have the option to share it with another Library or remove it.
I am a content publisher but can't see the content I want to add to my library?
The content might reside in a library that has not been shared with you. Reach out to your content administrator to ensure the library is shared to a group that you a member of.
Should I use the filter panel or the search bar when identifying the content I wish to add or can I still browse by folders?
If you prefer to browse by folders you can switch to folder view at the top left of the modal. Running a search query across a large library can take time so we would always advise to try and use a combination of search and filters. Lock in some filters via the filter panel first and then type in your search phrase.
