What is the Pinnacle Command Launcher?

The Pinnacle Command Launcher is a browser add-on that is required for launching Autodesk commands and/or opening local/network documents.
The command launcher installation unpacks plugins that allow the Pinnacle Series platform to trigger alter disk commands.
This thin client application allows the user's web browser to safely access the tools via a hyperlink.
If a user clicks a hyperlink in Pinnacle Series that requires this add-on, a message will display notifying the user that Pinnacle Command Launcher must be installed.
Users must first download the Pinnacle Series user tools, a small .msi file, then install the application.
If you do not see the download link on the Profile & Settings page, your organization might have opted to centrally manage the deployment. Reach out to your Pinnacle Series administrative team.
You must have administrative permissions to install software on your system.
Once installed you must go to your user profile and select 'activate on this device'. Without this step the command launcher will not work as expected.
You must also close your browser and reopen.
