Common Causes/Issues:
You want to learn the process to enroll individual users, or a group of users, into a Pinnacle Series Learning Path, or course, set due dates, and manage reminders to keep enrollees on task.
You need to give necessary user permissions to enroll users into Learning Paths and courses inside the Pinnacle Series platform.
Solution Overview:
In Pinnacle Series you'll find an extensive library of learning assets that will allow you to enhance or refine your users' skills.
Assigning course enrollments to others allows you to specify a due date and issue notifications
to enrollees and the Assignor. If someone is falling behind in their learning, you could nudge them with an email reminder.
To enroll users into Learning Paths and/or courses, you'll need to use the Pinnacle Management Utility.
Tactical rundown of solution:
Select 'Learning/Assessment Assignments' to open the enroll users dialog box. On the 'Learning Paths' tab, select 'Assign Courses'.
Queue up the Learning Paths and/or courses that you want assigned from the public content or from your organization's custom content.
If necessary, you can search to help you find the asset titles that you're looking for. Select a Learning Path to assign all of its courses or pick only those courses you want.
If there are courses from another Learning Path that you want to assign, append them to the list.
Once you have all your Learning Paths and or courses selected, click 'Next'.
Select 'Add User(s)', as shown below.
Search for users and select them by checking the square box to the left of the display name (1). To select multiple users, hold down your shift key and continue making your selections.
To filter to a group, select the Filter command (2), select 'Contains' (3) and type in the name of the group that you would like to filter to.
Once the group members are displayed, use the select all box (5) to select all users belonging to that group.
Once you have made your selection click 'OK' to lock in your choices.
After all the users are selected, click 'OK'.
All the users selected will appear in the preview list.
To remove users from this list, first select them, then click 'Remove User(s)'.
Toggle on 'Assign a Due Date for completing the Course(s)', so users can have a target date to aim for. (1)
Once this option is enabled, you can specify the due date.
When you assign due dates, platform notifications can be used to help users stay updated with deadlines.
And also to let them know if their course is past due.
Select the 'Assignor' that you want to associate to the user training. This person will get any email notifications that have been enabled. (2)
Toggle on 'Email Course Enrollment Notification(s)' to send out an email notification to
all enrollees assigned to the course. (3)
Click 'Finish' to complete the enrollment. (4)
