How to Add a Quiz Question
- Open the Admin Browser.
- Select Content.
- Open the Quizzes folder. (Custom content may be stored in a different folder.)

Locate the quiz you want to edit, or, if it does not already exist, select Add New to create a quiz, or copy a quiz from subscription content and customize it to your needs.

Select the ellipsis (...) menu next to the quiz and select Edit, or select the quiz title to open it in Edit Mode.

In the quiz editor, select Add Question.
- Choose how to add the question:
- Add New: Create a new question with your desired format and content.
- Copy From Existing: Duplicate a question from another quiz or content item for consistency and efficiency.
- Import: Bring in questions from an external source or a previously created library.

If you selected Add New, choose a question type from the dropdown. (See Question Types below.)
- Enter a Question Title and the question text.
- Define the correct answer(s).
- Add supporting information or hints, if applicable.
- Select Save to add the question to the quiz.
- Confirm that the new question appears in the quiz's question list.
Question Types
When you select Add New, choose from the following question types:
Multiple Choice - Single Answer
Users select one correct answer from multiple options. Best for simple knowledge checks with only one correct response.
Multiple Choice - Multiple Answers
Users select all correct answers from the provided options. Best for testing knowledge of multiple related facts.
True/False
Users determine whether a statement is true or false. Best for quick assessments of basic understanding.
Fill-in Text
Users type the correct word or phrase to complete a sentence. Best for testing precise knowledge, such as terminology or definitions.

- Mind the character limit: Question titles, questions, and answers are each limited to 255 characters.
- Be clear and concise: Use straightforward language to avoid confusion.
- Align with objectives: Ensure each question supports the learning objectives of the Course or training material.
- Use varied question types: Mix question formats to keep quizzes engaging and to evaluate different skills. Choose the type based on the complexity of the concept being tested and the clarity of the expected response.
- Provide context: Add scenarios or examples where applicable to enhance real-world relevance.
- Test your questions: Review questions for accuracy and relevance before publishing the quiz.
- Use subject matter experts (SMEs): Ask a subject matter expert to review the quiz description, questions, and answers before associating the quiz with a Course.
