For Sync Overview, the notification links to a snapshot of the preview data. This snapshot is only valid under certain conditions. If the snapshot becomes outdated, the notification will no longer open valid data.
For Sync Now, the notification links to Sync Logs. Because logs are a persistent record, these notifications do not expire and can be accessed at any time. If you click “Sync Now” and the process takes longer than 1 minute, you will be displayed the following modal, letting you know that the sync is processing in the background, and you will be sent a notification when it’s finished:
