All KnowledgeSmart users, including Administrators and people taking assessments, answering surveys or responding to skills audits.
Common Causes/Issues:
It is not possible to log into a KnowledgeSmart service. Your password is not working as expected.
Solution Overview:
Method 1:
You may reset your password using the 'Forgot your Password?' page.
The direct link is here.
You may enter either your KnowledgeSmart user name or your email address in the box. Then click on the orange 'SUBMIT' button.
You will receive an email with a password reset link.
If your system administrator has enabled 'Complex' password logic, you will see the following prompt:
The following rules will apply:
Minimum of 8 characters
At least 2 upper case character (A-Z)
At least 2 lower case character (a-z)
At least 2 numeric character (0-9)
At least 1 special character (e.g. !,#,$,%)
Method 2:
You may use the 'Forgot password' link. This can be found just below the 'Password' field on the KnowledgeSmart 'Login' page. Use this link here to get to the customer login page. From here select either 'Admins > Admin Area' or 'Users > User Area', to reach the 'Login' page with boxes for 'User name' and 'Password'.
The 'Forgot password' link is indicated by the red arrow.
Selecting the 'Forgot password' link will take you to the page shown below. You may enter either your KnowledgeSmart user name or your email address in the box. Then click on the orange 'SUBMIT' button. You will receive an email with a password reset link.
Same rules apply as noted above for 'Complex' passwords.
Important Information:
- As an Administrator you may change your password in either the KnowledgeSmart admin dashboard or your user page. As a user of KnowledgeSmart you may change your password in your user page.
- When logging into a KnowledgeSmart service the correct KnowledgeSmart user name must be used. An email address will not be accepted.
