-
Offers a collaborative learning environment with a discussion board.

Can restrict content to members
-
Members are invited to Work Groups
-
Users can self enroll in Work Groups that are available for open enrollment.
-
External members can be invited when there is a need to collaborate with external stakeholders e.g. sub-contractors.
-
-
Can restrict the visibility of certain elements of the work group e.g. Discussion, Member List, and Dashboard.
- Standard users can create work groups with elevated permissions.
-
Only members of a work group can see the content shared within it.
-
This keeps all relevant content in one area for users to view.
-
-
Any item in the asset library (public or custom) can be shared into a work group using the share command.
-
Content shared to a work group does not necessarily have to be tagged since the work group itself adds a "boundary" around the content making the content easy to find.
- Work groups have a number of notification settings including being notified when new content is added or when content is removed.
-
Each work group has:
-
Owners - full administrative privileges for the work group
- Add/Modify/Remove users
- Add/Modify/Remove assets
- Make the work group open membership
- Assign dashboard visibility to work group members
- Archive a work group
- Customize the dashboard layout
- consume assets added by other owners and editors.
